@pat77pat There is legitimate evidence that it is/was happening. Even the city manager reported receiving complaints in March. I tend to align more with a deistic perspective. It should be obvious that some greater power transcends humanity. While you are at liberty to embrace pure scientism and materialism, such a worldview offers life no higher purpose beyond temporary existence.

@pat77pat The evidence is testimony from multiple residents who live there, at least one police report about a cat, and the admission of the city manager. Haitians have very different values and social norms, it's not a stretch to believe it's happening when evidence from multiple sources is provided.

@OscarLangleySoryu Spreading disinformation/misinformation isn't a crime, it's protected speech (unless it's some form of defamation, and even then, it's civil, not criminal). If disinformation/misinformation was criminal, all politicians and the media would be arrested.
