Does that mean we should give up our country to millions of immigrants? What do you think will happen if we import millions of unskilled and poorly educated people into the country? Who is going to take care of them? Will you take a family of Haitians or Hondurans into your home?

If you want to punish the people responsible, go for it, but that's not me and neither is it the vast majority of citizens. The united states already takes in more LEGAL immigrants than any other nation in the world, so don't give me your "where do you get your gall, mate" BS. What country are you from? Let's send a few million unskilled and poorly educated 3rd world migrants to your country, see how that works out for you. The US has a finite number of resources, we can't take care of every poor person in the world. And sure, I bet Haiti would be just like Hong Kong and Silicon Valley if the US didn't "interfere" in Haiti over 100 years ago. Give me break. Another thing, I'm sick of self righteous people like you on your high moral horse acting like the US is evil incarnate while ignoring all the good it has done throughout the world. If it weren't for the United States, the world would be much worse off, despite the sins it's committed.
