@homelackin2234 Yes, you don't use deadly force in self defense unless the threat is immediate and imminate. But that might be different in Brazil (didn't realize it was Brazil until just now).

@cromagnon2601 I ask a question like that because the vast majority of police have either lied or distorted facts on police reports.
2
@cromagnon2601 I wouldn't be angry, I just wouldn't believe it. I support police, I don't support the current state of policing. Law enforcement has strayed too far from the nine principles of modern policing, and a public who gives them a pass for all but the most egregious bad acts simply because they are cops, is a major problem and leads to abuse...it's basic psychology and human nature to test limits.
2
@cbxxb4841 Speculating that a person might kill someone at a later date is not sufficient justification to kill them.
2
@cjreling4134 So cops are allowed to defend their lives and the lives of other, but private citizens can't? I don't think that's how it works.
2
No, it does not. Cops have no more right to self defense than the public.

@madman2u Correct.

Is this channel monetized?

You aren't permitted to shoot someone when they are fleeing. Deadly force is only for self defense.
1
Qualified and judicial immunity need to be abolished.
1
How many police reports did you lie on?
1
@richard6606 I never said he didn't deserve what he got...your mind reading skills need a lot of work. What does that have to do with my question.
1
@cromagnon2601 Not a Salty Cracker fan, huh? You lefties really need to wake up.
1
@cromagnon2601 Well, he's retired, so he can be truthful without fear of consequence.

@cromagnon2601 "CAREER COP ADMITS POLICE ARE TRAINED TO LIE IN REPORT Before the age of computers and body cameras, citizens were forced into court proceedings with an attitude of, “It was my side of the story against the cops. Who do you think the jury is going to believe?” In the age of technology in which we are presently, however, the word of police officers can be called into question. But it is not enough, according to one ex-cop, who says cops are taught precisely how to manipulate police reports for deceptive purposes. Thomas Nolan spent 27 years on the force as a cop and says he was not a very good beat cop but could write police reports bar none. He was so good at craftily wording police reports other officers inside the Boston Police Department would seek out his assistance in their own reporting."

@cromagnon2601 I'm not REEEE. I'm a Trump and DeSantis supporter, voter, and a Salty Cracker subscriber.

@oldcop18 I don't hate cops, I have disdain for bad cops, of which there are far too many. Most police put their little pensions ahead of defending and upholding the Constitution. They will follow their masters orders regardless of whether those orders are morally or legally correct.
1
@oldcop18 Where is my proof? See my early comment above.
1
A lot of people can't hit a target at six or seven yards? Are you kidding? I could do that the first time I ever fired a handgun.
1
Well, at least the cops here seem well trained and have some common sense, a rarity in today's law enforcement. Usually, they just shoot 80 to 90 times when someone pulls out an ice cream sandwich.
1
That was basically murder. If the person who did that wasn't a cop, he'd be in jail. This double standard needs to end.
1
Bad cop, no donut.
1
My 3rd degree is in Krav Maga.
1
@wymonwatson1309 That's not how the law is supposed to work.
1
@BloodofEli How do you know that?
1
@yoadrian5897 Doesn't matter, cops have no more right to self defense than private citizens.
1
@hackptui No they don't. Cops have no more right to self defense than anyone else.
1
@HealthyWithAustin Agree.
1
Police, deputies, AND private citizens don't have to wait for a gun to be pointed at them before engaging in self defense. Remember, police have no more right to self defense than anyone else.
