@SixOhFive Facts cannot be racist.

@mikivanduyn9630 Rittenhouse engaged in lawful self defense, and there is an enormous amount of supporting evidence.
14
@trollface2323 The police seem to escalate already bad situations, I would avoid calling them for any issue unless no other option exists. It seems that far too many police have fragile egos and believe their authority extends much further than lawfully commissioned.

@Potandthekettle Not really, was putting out fires and administering first aid. He was attacked because he put out a fire. He never brandished his weapon or aimed it in a threatening manner until he was attacked.
9
He's so lucky I wasn't there. He'd would have gotten the same treatment as the teacher's aid.
8
@Potandthekettle People need to be responsible for their actions. If someone gets angry because I'm carrying a firearm, that's their problem, not mine.
7
@Potandthekettle He did have business being a firefighter and a cop. You don't seem to understand the role of private citizens in a society.
7
@Potandthekettle You don't understand the duty of the public to keep their homes and communities safe. Are you familiar with Robert Peel, the father of modern policing? One of the nine principles of policing is as follows: "The police are the public and the public are the police; the police being only members of the public who are paid to give full time attention to duties which are incumbent on every citizen in the interests of community welfare and existence."
5
Does seem that way, doesn't it?
5
@Potandthekettle It's his right. He doesn't have to be concerned with their feelings. His rights don't end because of someone's feelings. That situation is one of the reasons we have the 2A. You don't understand the United States and the rights and freedoms we enjoy.
4
@Potandthekettle I did address that in an earlier comment. He went out in public to defend HIS community against rioters. After witnessing police doing nothing to protect people and property (police have no duty to protect), he took it upon himself, as is his duty and his right as a free citizen, to keep people and property safe from criminals. This is one of the reasons we have the second amendment. We are not subjects of the government, the people are sovereign. You don't seem to understand what a self-governed people looks like. I agree that policing needs significant reform. Qualified immunity needs to be abolished or narrowed, they should not have authority to investigate themselves, citizen review panels should have subpoena and disciplinary powers, and unions need to be abolished or placed under much stricter scrutiny.
4
Try coming back to reality.
4
@CeeSparks Mostly by other black students.
4
@lavenberry Why would I ask Trump. I already know Trump loves the United States and puts our interests first.
4
Nope.
3
They arrested him for receiving explicit photos? What about the girl who sent them? What are her charges? Pretty sure both are under 18...there is no good reason to attempt to ruin the lives of adolescents for engaging in the exploration of burgeoning sexuality.
3
@nosywendigo592 He's a crook. Everyone knows it.
3
Nope.
3
@dantesinfernopurgatory7826 You don't know whether he's mentally ill or not. You are not in a position to know. Your opinion seems to be biased and subjective.
3
@UC8GgjVhTKIgpvUw9CBW1a5g Have you read the nine principles? Private citizens are permitted to protect and defend, especially when cops aren't available or won't do their jobs. The people granted that authority to the police so they could dedicate their complete attention to policing, the people never surrendered their authority. The people are not subjects.
3
No.
3
You know it. Cops generally don't care about public safety, only their own.
3
@TheTwistedarm Well, Biden is visiting Ukraine but can't find the time to visit Ohio or the border. Do you like US presidents who put other nations ahead of the US?
3
@EulersDisc We don't agree that Biden received 81 million votes.
2
@JesusSaysMAGAtrashMAGAfilth I don't know, check for me.
2
@EulersDisc You can't even come up with a legitimate and fact based reason why you want Trump gone. And no, mean tweets and fake claims of racism are not legitimate reasons.
2
He's sick, get him some help.
2
Cool.
2
Who? The cop?
2
Yep, the Beijing Biden grift. Have you figured out who owns the the hand controlling the Biden puppet?
2
Seems that way.
2
Why?
2
The girl be charged as well.
2
Tell your 13 year old to stop breaking the law by creating and distributing CP. If they are going to arrest him, they should arrest her too.
2
I'm assuming you'd agree that if a cop did the same thing as this suspect, that he should receive the same sentence.
2
Yep. Law enforcement is nothing but a government subsidized gang of criminals substantially immune from prosecution. A legalized gang which puts itself ahead of everything and everyone. The entire institution of law enforcement needs to be overhauled.
2
What did the cop do to the kid to make him that angry? Is there more to the story?
2
I'd like to know too, feels like the whole story isn't being told.
2
Down where?
2
Shouldn't she be arrested as well?
2
@Jay-ez4sw 😂👍
2
@mikivanduyn9630 No, he didn't.
2
@JangoDripDrop Took me about 14 hours to drive from DC to Orlando.
2
@JohnRodriguesPhotographer Ok?
2
@Potandthekettle Restate your point please, I'm confused on exaxtly what it is.
2
@Potandthekettle I never said policing is the same as self defense. All people have the same right to self defense, whether police or not.
2
No, we shouldn't do that, we should follow the law and mete out sentences commensurate with the person's crime(s). I'm sure there is more to this story than they're letting on.
2
Kyle Rittenhouse did cross state lines, but not to kill. Crossing state lines while in the commission of a crime only changes the court's jurisdiction (usually from state to federal charges). If Kyle actually committed murder, it would have been illegal whether be crossed state lines or not.
2
Exactly. The sheeple are brainwashed. The cops don't protect the public, they do the bidding of the "ruling elite." If a governor orders them to unconstitutionally seize guns, cops will do it with a smile on their faces. If their chief orders them to unconstitutionally beat and arrest people for refusing to wear a compliance mask, cops will do it with a smile on their faces.
2
Agreed. Only "officer safety" is important, the safety of the public always takes a back seat when it comes to police.
