Hey, thanks Daniel!

The most common price I paid on my cross country trip was 30-35 cents per kWh. If you were to run it to zero and fill it to 100%, that would cost $22-26 for the charge. At home I'm paying 8-cents, so the same fill up is $6.

Quite the opposite. If the backer of hydrogen as a transportation energy medium had pushed it a lot harder and a lot earlier, they might have stood a chance of it being a decent intermediate system while waiting for batteries to get good. Batteries have gotten good, so hydrogen has expired before it even got off the ground.

Tire life isn't short. It comes down to how people drive them. I'm at 30k miles and still have tons of life in my tires because I drive like a normal person. If you look at Hellcat forums, you'll find short tire life complaints too. Long charging times isn't really a thing. I go months on end without ever having to go to a public charger. On road trips, by the time I'm done grabbing a snack and using the bathroom, the car's ready to keep going. Some EVs are heavy, but most are not. A Model 3 weighs the same as a BMW 3 series. The Model S only weighs as much as a Mercedes S-Class.

There's no planning. Put in your destination, and even if it's thousands of miles away, it will plan all the charging stops for you. No thinking required.

He said before buying EVs, he loved Honda. He has 2 EVs for the household.

I appreciate that. It's a skill most people can develop, and I've fortunately had enough opportunities to refine my approach.

Absolutely! I'm trying to establish contacts in advance of traveling to Shanghai for the Auto Show in April.

That's a popular misconception perpetuated by lazy news editors. If you back out the Over The Air updates, Tesla is among the least recalled cars. If what you want is a car that doesn't have to go back to the shop, there's no better option.

Where do you live? I'd love to let you come out and drive my car and see if you still feel that way.

Thanks!

The people I know who own the MachE absolutely love it.
