  5. As far as "false promises /not knowing all the potential side effects," researchers are not psychic wizards. ANY new drug can have unforseen side effects. Sometimes something looks promising and doesn't pan out. That's just reality. If they had financial conflict of interest or falsified data, THAT'S what they should be accountable for.

  7. RFK's giving speeches about how there was no ADHD, post partum depression etc. when he was a kid ...THOSE DIAGNOSES DIDN'T EXIST THEN! People were either "neurotic" or "delinquent"! The delinquents got reform school and the Neurotics got benzos, shock treatment and lobotomies! (Those Kennedies know a thing or two about lobotomies.)
