I don't mind wearing masks. They work great for seasonal allergies. I'd rather wear one than take sinus pills that make me drowsy.

@timsbird1971 Yeah, they've made cel phone batteries much harder to change as well, but I've had decent luck finding aftermarket replacements on €ba¥ and don't mind turning an itty bitty screwdriver. I'm not an early adopter of anything, I have a "wait til they get the bugs out" mentality. The fact that Teslas are made the same but you have to pay more to "unlock" premium capabilities creeps me out.

@buckd2958 EVs are pretty expensive and people are going to cut back on buying any new vehicles with all the inflation. Plus, the Fed reserve raising the prime rate to fight inflation is going to make the auto loan interest rates go up.

@Texasgal123 Have accounts at multiple banks or credit unions. Link your cash back store card to only the bank account you pay it from. Transfer your gas and grocery budget ( plus any minimum balance) to that account as needed to cover the charges and set up autopay of the card. If you're bad with credit, just keep paying cash. A person that's bad with credit will lose more in interest and late charges than they'll make from cashback.

@ModernPlague Having protective equipment is part of preparedness. Most people think they're too tough or just can't be bothered. Countries such as South Korea, where people have the sense to mask up and spread out when they're feeling poorly had low rates of transmission and death.
