  3. There are more low skilled migrant workers than there are jobs for them in the USA. A lot of these guys migrating strictly for better jobs would never be let in if they did things legally because there's just no demand for their services. The political asylum guys are a different story. They are let in and don't become "illegal" unless they skip their hearings.

  35. The hotels need to serve food grab-and-go buffet style and give the rest to the homeless. I get the hoarding stuff because these migrants came with nothing but the clothes on their backs, but they need to keep things neat or get kicked out. Some other migrant will arrive to take the room, so it's not like the hotel will lose any govt. reimbursement. I think the hotel manager IS at fault for allowing the migrants ( or any other guest) to disrespect the staff.

  43. It's kind of hypocritical to say "she can't be that bothered, she's laughing" when your own job is cracking jokes and laughing about stuff you're mad about. Lots of people laugh when stressed or crack jokes about things as a defense mechanism, but there are also people who can't tell real joyful laughter from nervous laughter.

  45.  @jenni0278  Everybody screws up at something sooner or later. Reprimanding someone in a professional manner is one thing, but "tearing them a new one" is not only rude but counterproductive, because it sends the employee into fight or flight mode, which makes them distracted from the work.
