  1. Wages are only one of a company's expenses. Many other factors affect pricing.

  2.  @bradchristy8429  Companies know to start increasing prices BEFORE mandated wage increases go into effect. So there's not a direct jump in prices right after every salary increase. There would have to be a decrease in the cost of either raw materials or shipping in order for the cost of a wage increase to not get passed to the consumer.

A pyramid scheme is where the person at the top makes a cut of the profits from those directly under him, they make a cut of the profits from the people under them,etc. So Spotify wouldn't qualify. Although it may be unfair that the smaller artists don't get paid unless they're above a certain level, this is the standard for ALMOST ALL technofeudalist media platforms. And when has the music industry ever paid everybody a " living wage"?
