She also said he had a desire to be a Dad. The culture is very different in the second than the first world because there's less of a government safety net. That shed's a STEAL for $300, in that part of the country, even without utilities.Assuming he makes 7.50 (minimum at the time) at his other job, and $11.00 at his main job, that's still around $2,000 a month take home, not even counting what the brother in law (that they said lives there) makes! They're set even if the GF stays home as a house wife, (which is what the guy wants anyway). They should stay there until they have a down payment for a little house.

  24.  @thebeast9869  I don't know what the immigration/citizenship requirements are for China, but I know that being born here makes you a USA citizen, like garage guy and his twins to be. If you pay attention to the video, you'll see he speaks at least a little english, and his kids will go to school here, so English will become their primary language. Their kids' kids won't even know enough spanish to have a conversation with their grandma.

  28.  @colleenpeck6347  Sure, unless you're in the USA, where a lot of that won't be covered and (if you're working poor) your out of pocket/ co-pays alone will make any kind of prolonged therapy prohibitively expensive, making your actual problems worse. I'd just start binge-watching YT videos about frugality, dealing with anxiety, etc., plus fun escapist things about whatever your interests are. There are plenty of cheap hobbies like writing or drawing. You can get "classes" on YT and just draw on some scrap paper or the backs of junk mail. Or you can fold origami or make paper beads or models. You can find endless fun things to make from scrap cardboard, empty cans and old clothes, which cost nothing or next to nothing.

  47.  @Anton43218  XXL is not a problem if you can find something not worn out. There are lots of "how to" tailoring and repair videos on YouTube. You can do the same stuff without a machine, it just takes a bit longer. That way you can save your new clothes for job interviews and still have some pretty nice things to wear around.
