  3. Yes while we have not done much with manned space travel we did discover a lot of things we now even know about exoplanets we had no idea about them back then.

  17. that was mainstream science a few decades before this happened i guess this guy didn't have much access to recent books i was reading books from the 1960s in the year 2000. so i can imagine people in 1960 in the poorest country in the world being stuck with books from 1910.
