mostly just random 60 year old Italians that want to copy twitter and add some buzzwords

its already too late people don't want to switch to new platforms unless they are very different from stuff that already exists. in the past some European tech companies had some success but with things that are no longer high tech like nokia .but nobody thought stuff like twitter would actually be successful so eu companies focussed on trying to compete with youtube and on hardware and video games. and of you were around back in the early 2000s that would have made a lot of sense but even back then you needed to be quick and lucky

dailymotion and some central european websites without an English version .

this will be really bad because a lot of content i watch is not from the eu and. i don't know were you are from but language will be a huge issue since without the uk the only native English speaking country in the eu is Ireland and maybe malta so it will be a minor language in the eu. and this means that on these eu only sites the biggest languages are going to be French or German or Spanish. but if you are from a smaller country like Denmark or the Netherlands it will basically be like going back to 2001 because there will be almost nothing to watch apart from reality tv and the 8 o clock news .i guess Germans can enjoy more creative youtubers but its seriously limiting and it makes the internet pointless .

@ChristiaanHW no just go look for livestreams in the European morning or mid day to see what i mean. its all non English apart from the occasional British person that isn't in the eu anyway .
1
@ChristiaanHW yea but that is not what i mean. i mean that there isn't a lot of good English content being made in the eu. and that is not the only problem

@warcrimeconnoisseur5238 tell that to Germans and the French. and Italians and Hungarians and polish and basically most of Europe apart from the small countries.
1
@warcrimeconnoisseur5238 true but then people in the small countries have to earn German and that is not fun when you spend 10+ years on English .
