Probably not any time soon maybe 20+ years from now if things don't change Russia looks for easy targets all the time so the countries have to be prepared. right now the west is going downhill but they were not going to attack a nato or eu country but also not a country that they consider an ally. so they went for Ukraine since there aren't a lot of countries that fit these criteria but maybe the future leaders of Russia will be more peaceful since its the distant future
