  19.  @ohajohaha  1 i know polish people hate being called eastern European because they don't want to be associated with Russia. but you just are you guys don't act like Dutch or German or French people. 2 Poland is right wing at least by European standards. even the fact that you get mad about being called eastern European would already be considered a right wing mindset in the west. you have elected Donald tusk who is called centre right but his views are more similar to Geert wilders or marine le pen. apart from his geopolitics that are more pro eu and NATO. but his domestic policy would be seen as far right in western Europe. and the pis party wouldn't even be allowed to run in places like Germany or Belgium. and korwin mikke would be in jail for hate speech .

There are some confused people online who do this because they think America is doomed and only foreign intervention can stop the country from becoming more left wing. the right wing is quite divided on this issue since Ukraine is very conservative too. and Russia alienates conservatives by using soviet iconography. also some left wingers are also pro Russia like aaron maté and code pink but the media is very one sided.

  38. i think most Russians like stuff from the west just because their on stuff is usually mediocre. but i noticed some really strange takes from Russians like there was a Russian guy who spoke like 6 language but no English. and a lot of Russians don't know basic things about American culture and history. like they don't know what the kkk was or why its not ok to paint yourself black and Russia has its own google and Facebook like websites. and unlike china Russia doesn't (or should i say didn't ) block those things so Russians just preferred those things organically. most other countries that tried this failed because most users preferred the American equivalent .

Yea it seems like nobody cares about freedom anymore they sometimes say they care but they only care about power and ideology and they view censorship as a solution to everything even things like natural disasters are now used as an excuse for censorship. and one thing i noticed about censorship is that when they ban one thing i don't care about a lot of unrelated things can also get banned and its very annoying. another problem is that you could get in trouble over something you did on accident or a very long time ago before it was banned .

Russia has ruined itself again with over the top authoritarianism they were doing well for a while but now you just can't do much without angering the government on accident and having your work ruined .that is why the ussr failed and America became successful because people like tesla or Stan lee didn't have to worry about this stuff in America. and sometimes it seems like America is going down hill but look at the competition
