Russia could be great if they finally create a democracy and it wont be like the west it will be even better people like Putin hold back eastern Europe because they have a soviet nostalgia obsession and eastern Europe will always be more conservative than the west but it will be a good form of conservatism.

I don't want to call myself a conservative because i like the welfare state i live in one of the most socially liberal countries in the world so every country seems conservative compared to my home and i am constantly surrounded by left wing people so i think some right wing ideas could benefit my country but not all right wing ideas.

Centrists in the us? i thought those where extinct that is the big thing i love about eastern Europe they still have centrists in the west its all pure left vs right centrists get hate from both sides until they quit talking about politics Also i think rt tries to appeal to conservatives because there is just less conservative media especially in western Europe America still has fox at least but in western Europe you can only find conservative stuff online so they feel alienated and think they are doomed unless they get international help rt used to be pro left wing in the George bush age.
