  1. in 2016 a lot of right wingers got accused of being Russian bots. but back then it didn't make any sense since these guys never talked about Russia and non western things in that period .later on as things didn't go according to plan in the late 2010s and especially in 2020 and 21 they started being positive about random non western countries everywhere from Poland to japan to Rwanda to to Thailand they went from saying the west is better to saying to west is bad. in 2022 Russia did their thing at first i and many people were like come on why are eastern Europeans fighting now we got enough problems already why should we care about this. but i started learn Russian and Ukrainian in the late 2010s so i tried to listen to what they were saying and the stuff Putin was saying about Ukraine made no sense. if you know anything about the region so i became pro Ukraine. Ukraine had a good combination of freedom and conservatism compared to authoritarian Russia and now they ruined the country. but most conservatives are still pro Russia. its a spectrum some of them avoid talking about it and say vaguely anti Ukraine things sometimes .while others have gone full tankie and have a Putin or kremlin profile pic and keep confusing nato with the eu and its really unwatchable. most political youtubers just go with the flow they don't actually believe what they are saying but if they say positive things about Ukraine many people will unsub.
