  2. the republicans have self sabotaged with their pro Russian support. back in 2016 nobody really cared about this issue and Russia seemed better than many other countries. but after 2022 some of these conservatives can't stop defending them and they seem more patriotic for Russia than America this is causing them to lose a lot of support .

  3.  @HamsterLoad  probably because most Ukrainians are very conservative but right now a lot of American and west european conservatives prefer russia because they don't know much about these countries
