  4. i have been learning it for almost 6 years but my progress is very slow i only know a few phrases and at my current phase its going to take me over 100 years to get fluent. but i have also been learning Russian for about 6 years too and i could understand you without even looking at the subtitles. but my grammar is very poor and i don't know all the words but i think i will be fluent eventually. i also have been learning Japanese for 5 years i think its easier than Chinese but much harder than Russian. but i have been making actual progress but its still going to take me over 20 years to get fluent at this speed .but Japanese has no tones everything sounds distinct so its easier to learn only reading is very hard if it had a normal writing system it would be easier than Russian. i also have been learning Vietnamese too for 4 years and i think speaking Vietnamese is harder than Chinese but easier to read .i think culture can also be an aspect china has a lot of potential but the repression limits it so i like countries like japan and even Russia more .
