  2. it will happen when things start to actually affect people but right now everyone over 20 grew up in a time when everyone was worried about overpopulation it was seen as a fact. finally people have started realising they were wrong but most adults are not going to change their minds and will even tell their kids to not have kids despite the media admitting that they were wrong .so it will take decades for this to change maybe the people who are born today will be the first to have more kids again in around 2050.

  14. for many decades we were told about overpopulation being a problem people are just doing what they were told was a good idea in the last few years mainstream media has changed its mind but i am really talking just a few years most people born before 2010 will not change their mind about this .i know a lot of people in their 20s with this mindset even with the mainstream media now saying they were wrong it wont matter .there is probably more stuff going on but this is a major factor another. thing is that life for me right now is so easy having a kid would make it 10x harder. i sometimes have to babysit kids sometimes its fun but if i have to do this 24/7 my life will be so much harder but it actually wont be hard relative to many people. i think to my parents i had a relatively minor impact since they were already working full time and life was more boring since you didn't have a lot of tv channels and even vhs was still quite new. but to me i am really addicted to youtube i try to watch educational stuff and learn languages but i will get to watch way less YouTube if i have kids that is a choice i will have to make that my ancestors didn't .
