  1.  @trevdestroyer8209  people can afford kids but can't afford a lot of toys for them. people don't want to give up luxury. meanwhile if you are poor having kids can be a benifet in the long term. when they are old enough to do house work and eventually get jobs.

Having a lower population is still better than turning the country into a war zone. and let's not forget that just because Africa still has high birth rates right now doesn't mean that they will stay high. they are dropping everywhere even in Nigeria they are half of what they where 20 years ago. they are like Europe in 1960 now compared to the year 2000 when they were like Europe in the 1800s. 100 years from now the global population will reach it's peak .and it will never get higher unless something really strange happens. so doing this will only delay the inevitable. and will cause more long term problems.
