  1. i heard a lot of horror stories about Brazilian import taxes and also in some other south American countries in most countries taxes are not a big deal for the average person. but in brazil it really ruins a lot of basic things .

The thing with that even is that its not really political in non western countries its more about the culture .like for example japan has always been very cleanly and germophobic so this caused a huge panic in the country .but in a lot of African countries nobody cared because they experience way worse diseases all the time. and in sweden they had an old law that banned lockdowns.

  10. if you actually want to live there Serbia since Mexico has very high crime and its not improving while Serbia has very low crime and the country is getting richer quickly .but for travel mexico is better since Serbia has been involved with political drama while Mexico tries to be more neutral .

  12. i don't care about tiktok and china but we need more non American tech platforms. i am worried that they will do the same thing when more democratic countries like Poland or India or japan start making good apps that get successful but get banned anyway .because they compete with facebook or google .

Don't go to Latin America please if wokeness is your main concern. they are very similar to the us and western Europe in terms of politics its just that they are poor and have a tropical climate so they appear more exotic .but remember just like the us and Canada they where European colonies but from Spain and Portugal .even in places like the Czech republic they are less woke than in most Latin American places

  15. Because Turkish people are so proud and parotitic so that must mean their country is perfect and richer than Switzerland. because swiss people complain too much compared to the proud Turks who live in the greatest country in the world apart from maybe India.

  18.  @napabilirim  i noticed Turkish people online are nicer than the ones i see irl .this is usually the opposite with most cultures. i think the people who moved here were having "problems" in turkey and wanted to move to a place with more friendly cops and justice system

  19. turkey has good things going for it but at least when it comes to online stuff like social media or other things the Turkish government will try to censor and micromanage you. like they blocked wikipedia for a few years over something minor. maybe it is great for manufacturing or non interactive internet services and software

  23. people have to do their research but in most countries things will change very slowly and politicians wont do much right now. in the west i think the far left is worse but after learning some languages and traveling i noticed that the far right is still a thing in many parts of the world with unhinged nationalism and religious extremism being quite common even in places were you won't expect it so you will face discrimination and things can also change quickly but its more cultural like obama in 2010 seemed to have a totally different ideology than in 2015. and lets not even talk about how much joe Biden changed over the years .i used to vote for the left in my own country but i saw them becoming woke and now i am supporting right wing politicians but i do wish the left would have a renascence and return to what they were like just 15 years ago. in many other countries the left is more sensible most true communist countries tend to become like that because of a revolution not elections and since the fall of the ussr it happens way less. the only countries i can think of that went full old school communist after 1990 is Venezuela and maybe Bolivia and nepal most countries that became authoritarian recently were taken over by military coups or religious extremists. in the west we do have a problem with wokness like in the uk its undermining freedoms and quality of life. but it still isn't that bad and wokness is really more like a distant spinoff of the far left that is nothing like what you see in non western countries and only became a thing in the last 10 years .

Latin America has similar politics to north America in eastern Europe there is slightly more racism than in the west but not that much. they may call you the n word and do blackface but you wont be discriminated against like in America back in 1950. anti black racism is more common in Asia now were you will not be allowed to enter certain shops or restaurants or they will blame you for things you were not involved with.

  34. i am not sure about that you got Venezuela being ambitious and cuba and there used to be a lot of wars involving Haiti and Dominican republic and if America wants to fight Venezuela some of the Caribbean countries could be affected

  36. i just hate all the paper work at the border and not having internet for more than 24 hours .seems like have a internet addiction problem i loved to go to other countries when i was a kid and my parents did all the paper work and i didn't care about the internet or it didn't even exist . on most of my recent ravels the internet has been annoying hotel internet is permanently stuck in 1990 and you can't use phone internet even elon musk would be broke after a few hours of doing that unless you buy a local sim and phone subscription. some countries have unlimited but others are also stuck in 2005 they got very fast mobile internet but you can only use 1gb before they shut it off and they just expect you to use wifi. but that is fine for locals but not when you are stuck at the hotel

  37. i am from Belgium i noticed some regions have extreme crime and other regions have almost none .and by regions i mean small areas like towns or neighbourhoods. it seems like most criminals don't like to move around much they are impulsive people and don't plan their crimes. but the places with high crime are places that are hard to avoid like train stations and big cities. and its spreading there used to be places that were safe 10ish years ago that are dangerous now. like this was this place not far from were i live that used to be quite funny since you had a lot of very conservative Christian old people and a lot of very conservative Muslims living there making things quite strange but now the old people are gone and the crime got out of control.

  38. i don't have much experience but all i know is that i never had relationships with women from my ow country and i never even travelled to another country for this they were tourists or immigrants. seems like most women in my country are very prudish in a strange way .this is western europe btw you can't be honest to them they want to know you for years and they don't tolerate minor flaws .like if you have a hobby that isn't mainstream or if you prefer to not spend money on luxury items .i guess some women fetishize men from other countries since i noticed foreign men having more success in my country too

  39. he mentioned he was in Mozambique in the 90s i think that there were probably like 10 computers in the entire country back then lol .but nowadays even there you got a lot of people with internet access but in the 90s you only had rich countries online .you had these maps of global internet activity and Africa and most of Asia was just a big hole of nothing. but south America and the Caribbean and eastern Europe got online quite early too

  45. i used to think this issue was not serious but there are a lot of people world wide who hate these guys they are looking for any excuse to attack them .and if they can't find them they will try to find people who support them instead like in my town some people in a shop started yelling does anyone here support (redacted)? it seems to be almost everywhere. eastern Europe western Europe many Asian countries Africa south America. i think the safest places for these guys right now are Buddhist countries like japan and some places in south east Asia where most people don't have influence from Abrahamic religions .

  47.  @PatrickCrossfire.  yea but that is another issue .i mean that the politics in south America have similar issues as the us and western Europe combined with poverty. but all of that wont matter when the rest of the world is literally uninhabitable. i guess you could also risk going to Botswana or Namibia. but i don't know much about these countries apart from them getting richer quickly but its still Africa. i know south Africa is no good and Botswana and Namibia are now richer and have more freedom. but in this scenario survival is more important so you got to stay far from any city .but i doubt it will happen and if its does i will have time to flee. the southern hemisphere doesn't have much choice its all very westernised even in south Africa.
