  2. i used to download roms and other things that clamed to be from 1980 well some of them actually were but most were from the 1990s or late 80s some even older but they would either have the actual date when i downloaded them or a random date from when someone dumped the rom somewhere in the early 2000s or 90s or when the game was made .no 1970s dates because those games were so simple they didn't have room for a date stamp and they were put on the internet much later. but i know that a lot of old computers didn't have a built in clock like the c64 .high end computers in the 80s and 70s did have them but i don't know if computers had these in the 60s or 50s i heard claims it was already a thing in the 60s and 50s.
