11:40 the reason a ice age was predicted is because of natural causes there will be a cooler climate 1000s or even 10000s of years from now the world has been going trough colder and warmer periods for the last few million years technically we are still in a lighter ice age because a ice age just means there are permanent ice caps on the poles for example 300 million years ago even the south pole was tropical that was when there was no ice age ofcourse this coming ice age will not be a threat to humanity since we survived the previous one with stone age tools and we will have a very long time to prepare and it will be a super slow change.

Yea but that was in the days of the dinosaurs we could survive it but its going to be very bad and if global warming keeps going up forever we end up with lava oceans.

Yea but if the temperatures keep going up forever we are going to end up with a 150°c+ increase and we turn into planet venus.

@richardwebb9532 Yea but i mean a green house effect can be so powerful it can end up cooking the planet also Venus is not so close to the sun that it gets too much heat from there if the atmosphere was right and had a magnetic field it could be earth like also some scientists think venus had life but i was wiped out because for some reason the planet got a tick layer of clouds causing the planet to be cooked.

@markkar4663 The last ice age came because of the milankovitch cycles we have been in a colder period since north and south America connected millions of years ago but that had nothing do do with green house effects that is a different phenomena.

@Born_Stellar no the co2 was not in the atmosphere in the past its coming from burning fossil fuel but I will say there is probably not enough oil and coal on the planet to reach that point but it's not sure.

@huwthomas9954 the atmosphere of Mars is super thin because mars is so small the gravity is weak and most of it went into space it also has no magnetic field so it does not matter that it's co2 also the temperatures on Mars are earth like on most of the planet so all you need to survive for a while is a jacket and a oxygen tank well untill the radiation gives you cancer.
