  1. Keep in mind less than 50% of the population owned a pc in the late 90s and less than 20% in 1990 and most people had outdated hardware sometimes from the 80s.

Life was simple they tried to make everything very colourful i just watched tv played some game boy games listened to good music read books from the library rented movies on tape. i didn't worry about anything. the downsides where most adults where Chainsmokers and you had to pay for movies on vhs music on tape or cd so that could be a waste of money. if you wanted info on obscure topics the library may not have what you want. and photography was annoying .no cellphones means you can't call for help in case of emergency. the media was much better but if they did lie it was hard to find the truth..
