I tried to learn the welsh language but the welsh people are so lame. if you want to learn a language you need to use it. i try to watch youtube videos but all the welsh youtube videos are educational or political. and everything made recently is very woke. the language is on life support and used as a puppet .even Icelandic is more interesting but to be fair its a very low population language an even smaller language i tried to learn with less speakers is Samoan. but they have the opposite problem. they can't go 10 seconds without mentioning the bible. so the problem with learning endangered languages is not really that nobody speaks it anymore. but that the people who still speak it are all in a hive mind and don't tolerate alternative ideas. even in languages like Arabic 99% of the speakers are very devout Muslims. but there is still a small community of secular moderate Arabs. probably over 1 million Arabs are atheist. i think the Celtic lands (Ireland Scotland wales) are probably the wokest places in the world. i don't know why you would think that people who speak endangered languages would be conservative.
