  1. yea i remember back when Ireland was known as the most conservative country in western Europe by far. it seems like Ireland skipped the good freedom loving period between 1970 and 2010 and went straight from "far right" to "far left". in my country it was all much slower and we had a really good time in the late 20th century before we took things too far.

  3. i think that in America people of Irish decent became less assimilated because Irish people were discriminated against and seen as a different race .but people that came from other parts of Europe just started calling themselves American after a few generations.

  4. i have tried to learn over 100 languages but i think Gaelic is one of the worst .its not the hardest its just bad strange grammar and spelling rules that do nothing. i stopped studying it because the teachers were very woke and everything modern in the language is woke. i know its not their fault since its a rare language. but i hoped i could just use older media and learn it like i learned Latin and Yiddish but turns out there are more speakers of it now than 20 years ago .so there is a hole in Irish media so you need to go back to reading 300+ year old books. but then i found out the language changed even faster than English so i can't read anything old in Irish anyway .and i hoped there would be some old black and white movies but most of them were made in recent years .because they have a revival of the language now but it has been hijacked by woke people and only stuff from the 2000s is watchable.

  5. The English did a good job with that i think the romans had a weak spot when it came to seafaring after they dealt with cartage.
