Because in the 1920s they had lower standards and regulations. my house is from the 1920s but we had to revamp the electricity and insulate. that costed a lot of money i don't even think this house had electricity and sewage when it was first build .the electricity we had to replace looked like it could be from the 1950s or 60 maybe. the kitchen and bathroom was build much more recently i think in the 1970s or 80s. so all of that stuff made this house much more expensive for me than it was for the original owners.

  5.  @fredmercury1314  Mine too. but i don't really think it was a good idea to close off the fire place with bricks. since it could be a back up in case of disaster .but a lot of people did that in the late 20th century. i remember when i was a kid my parents did the same thing. i was happy we got central heating back then. but it would be a handy idea to keep the stoves as a backup.

  6. Probably because there where way less people working in it back then. because it was harder and teenagers got bullied for knowing how to use a computer for some reason.

  11. Maybe the zoomers just don't know how to save money. if they don't know the downsides of immigràti0n they probably don't kn0w a lot of bà$ic things .they probably spend all their money on funco pops and youtubers patron accounts
