@GangsterFrankensteinComputer That is only a thing in Afghanistan and even there the taliban banned it it has nothing to do with the religion its just some local tradition.

@jhpfdijtuiweruot 20 Years ago you could not even write this comment YouTube was created 17 years ago by secular people remember what the church did to Galileo.

@jhpfdijtuiweruot Mobile internet helped me out when i needed to know certain things 20 years ago nobody had that stuff if you look on Wikipedia you may find that some high end japan only services for rich business men had super slow mobile internet back then. but i am talking about normal consumers here or how about 3d printers hd screens all great stuff but you came to me and said all science is bad so anything past the 17th century is bad according to that logic not just the last 20

@jhpfdijtuiweruot Nobody used it in 1996 and it was crap we also have had flying cars self driving cars and robot workers for a while now but they are not ready for the consumer yet but i think they will be when i am old.

@jhpfdijtuiweruot You could say the same in 2002 because most of the technology i used in 2002 already existed in 1982 in a very primitive form that almost nobody used.

@jhpfdijtuiweruot 40 years ago you definitely could not write this comment but you could probably find something about super expensive bbs technology that was too expensive for normal people and could not do video or even images and then you can count telegraphs as writing comments 180 years ago but what is your point anyway i keep giving to examples but you don't count them and you started off saying science in general is bad.

@jhpfdijtuiweruot 40 years ago and even 20 years ago i would have to spend money on books movies electronics where more expensive and you needed more dedicated electronics like a vcr video camera phone photo camera radio tv and so on now i save a lot more money by not needing those things anymore And it really does not matter that some scientist had really primitive internet because a lot of science went into making that stuff affordable and user friendly to me.

@jhpfdijtuiweruot What about all the electronics you needed that i just mentioned and you ignored and at least in my library you had to pay but you could read the books in the library if you wanted to but the library was very cheap. And at least and in my region the library is too far to reach on foot so i had to spend at least 30 minutes on the bus but more realistically over 1 hour. And the library did not have many books so i managed to read everything they had in a few years.

@jhpfdijtuiweruot again ignoring my point about cameras and phones and vcrs.
