In Croatian they got different names for the months similar to the ones in polish or Czech while Serbian uses names similar to English. but after watching this video i am started to think they only started using these in the 90s. but i can believe there were a lot of regional differences in the past because it is/was like that everywhere

  16. i was in the Balkan in 2007 and i played some 90s arcade games there like metal slug and killer instinct. this sounds quite bad for 2007 but a few years earlier i was in laos and over there the locals had never seen a video game before they didn't know what a game boy was so being 10 years behind is a lot better than being 50 years behind and i had a great time. the games you showed in this video was mostly the same stuff i played back then many were actually too high end for my pc. like they could afford a pc that could run wow and have non dial up internet but not the subscription seems odd unless this was 2016 or something. generally if you had a pc with internet before 2008 you were doing well when YouTube came out you didn't have any people form very poor countries like India but plenty from the Balkan and south America .but nowadays you got a lot of people from every country online even in dr Congo 25% of the population has internet now while in 2007 it was less than 1% and soon it will be everyone i think in rich countries had about 80% had internet in 2007 while in the Balkan probably 50ish % now its 99% in pretty much all of Europe.

A little bit but western Europe is copying America right now but normally we have more choice .like you had liberal parties that are more like libertarians anti regulation and low taxes .but progressive on social issues .and you had nationalists that wanted more welfare but were also religious and anti immigration .but at least in my country you don't have that anymore you got the right and the anti right coalition. i guess some central European countries still have more choice not Romania apparently

  26. the Russians have been getting good at propaganda since its in this limbo were its free enough were the average person isn't affected by the censorship .but if you try to get into politics you are doomed. in china they are so authoritarian Chinese people can't even go to youtube so its clear to everyone that china is not a free country .nowadays there is more censorship in western countries so Russia can use it as an argument on why they are better .but in reality while you can say things in Russia that are taboo in the west Russia has its own things that are not ok to say in Russia and the punishments are worse .and recently the censorship in Russia is becoming more extreme again .and if you want freedom in non western countries there are plenty of choices like Poland japan or even Ukraine before the war .
