  7. Bars where probably more interesting in the 90s and before because there was no internet and if you go to the 80s even tv was very limited with only 3 channels. you really had to go outside for entertainment the bars had some arcade games too and the music they played was better.

I never liked twitch much youtube didn't have streaming until more recently so it had a place. but i didn't get why twitch made it so you could only stream games for a few years. but now they have become very woke. all major tech companies are woke but twitch may be the first major tech site that will be come irrelevant because it pushed things too far for most users. i guess amazon can keep it online for as long as they like even if nobody uses it anymore. i hope youtube wont go as far as twitch but they probably will

Another downside of being terminally online that only applies to people in certain regions is that people get out of touch with their local culture and news. like in my country there are not a lot of youtubers that talk about news .when covid came i was not sure what the rules where in my area despite me watching news about it all the time. because those guys lived all over the world but every city did things differently. the local news papers have gone down hill so i stopped reading them 8 years ago .but the people here are too lazy or uncreative to do citizen journalism in other regions people are more motivated to do that.

  12. i am not a zoomer i used to hate my life but then i suddenly just had a realisation that life is a rare thing everything that had to happen for me to exist was very rare. so i should be grateful for my life and enjoy it because it will never happen again. i am not sure what makes depressed people like this i can't relate much sometimes i have a bad time i just try to run from the problem or try to fix it but i will not give up on life at all.

  16.  @KATinBLACK  I am not gen z but when i was in high school they just gave me typing lessons and how to use ms word and email. but this was not very useful .i wanted to learn coding and other more advanced things. i heard that this was common in schools before my time in the 80s and early 90s .but maybe that was only high end schools .because i have vague memories of the 90s and my school didn't have a single computer .but i had a pc at home i went to a different school in 2001 they had computers that where good for the time .but they didn't get upgraded until windows 7 was out and they replaced them with widows xp era computers.

  18. I listen to podcasts about things that i am interested in like news video games science history and drama. but i don't listen to podcasts that are about someones personal life. i don't really care about the podcaster i just want some information or entertainment.

My grandpa was obese and lived until 80 but he died of covid so he could have lived slightly longer. he was also very fit when he was young. but once he retried he started getting fat so between 1990 and 2020 he was fat but from 1939 to 1989 was was in good shape. my grandma is also obese and is 82 lost a lot of weight in her 60s.

Maybe she is a fan of him zoomers really worship their favourite youtubers. she saw his videos when she was a kid and continued to be a fan even after the drama. i know this seems silly to most people but youtubers exist in this strange limbo between celebrity and regular people. where they are well known enough to have crazy fans but not so famous that the average person knows them.
