@thomasbootham2707 Norway and Poland haven't had a war in 80 years and when they did it didn't go well for them Sweden didn't have a war for about 200 years

maybe they should have military training in high school instead so people can be mobilised more quickly a few years later

@thomasbootham2707 and even these that did serve forgot all the downsides. or since it was so long ago life was so boring they didn't have anything better to do. but some 20 year olds already want to work and try all kinds of things. i think if the us had this system in the 1970s Microsoft and apple wouldn't exist .or if it was a thing in the 90s google wouldn't exist
