@Cardan011 I can't even explain it to my 80 year old grandpa who used to be a expert at fixing analog electronics.

@CalvinJary That will take over 4 billion years but the sun will already become hotter by 1 billion years from now but in 200 million years we should be fine.

Yea but they lack creativity now they think the average person will find it too confusing this could have been a cool movies in the 90s or early 2000s .but back then most scientists still thought we would have a "big crunch"
3
Yea they can probably make probes that are extremely tiny and don't use radio waves to communicate or they can have cloaking that makes a ship invisible to us or maybe they can create artificial gravitational lenses that can make a telescope way more powerful or maybe they got something completely unknown to us
3
I think they hope they find some advanced tech that would give them a advantage its very unlikely and not the main reason they went to space but if they can find something from a advanced civilization it really could change everything so its something they really wish for.

Yea the least smart people have many kids while the smart ones all get vasectomies non of the women i meet want kids. only crazy ones that will get me in trouble.

i guess life is probably not very rare even multicellular life. but civilization is probably ultra rare especially industrial civilization that can communicate with us. just look at our planet so many species yet we are the only one that can even think about these things. even big ones like elephants seem to be able to understand a lot of things but can't build anything .

Another issue how do you entangle particles in another star system many lightyears away or even one on mars.

I think aliens may be hiding from us for some reason.
1
Yea you are right compare earth to a island full of angry gorillas that is probably how aliens see us.
1
Maybe if they really are way smarter than us. but it seems unlikely and it will take them a very long time for them to evolve. there will be a period where they are not as smart as us or equal.

I wish.

Aliens confirmed

if they convert too much mass into quark matter wouldn't it just turn into a black hole?.

ok if we look at the history of life on earth we know that complex multicellular life has existed for about 1/8 of the time that life existed on earth at all so far so good if there are planets with bacterial life there will definitely be some with multicellular life too. but it sees like civilization is a very rare fluke there seems to have been nothing as intelligent as humans. so in in the last 100.000 years could there have been a civilization so that makes for about a roughly 1in 40.000 chance for intelligent life but we were hunter gathers for most of our existence. the first civilizations came around 5000 years ago so that reduces it to 1 in 800.000 but these were pre industrial civilizations and we can't communicate with them. the industrial revolution started about 250 years ago but i am going to skip the early industrial revolution because we want a civilization that has discovered radio so we can communicate and is on par or slightly less advanced or more than us. so i am just going to round it off to 100 years or or about 1in 40 million .we have no idea how many stars have a habitable planet i am going to be generous and say 1% so by my very lazy amateurish Hypothesis about 1 in 4 billion stars have a civilization on par with us and as far as civilizations that can do interstellar travel and are way more advanced nobody knows and ofcourse on other planets life can be very different.

I am going to assume aliens would have a lot of tricks we don't have like microscopic probes or some kind of technology that can overcome the limits of telescopes with some kind of artificial gravitational lensing.
