As someone who live trough both 9/11 and covid 19 covid 19 was way worse on a global level. at least with 9/11 i could ignore it since i am not American or middle eastern. but with covid there was no way out. it was here i couldn't leave my neighbourhood for months. and even 2 years later it was still a big deal and i couldn't do a lot of things .9/11 was out of the news after a few months.

@abe1996 Yea my country was not affected by the patriot act. (my country never respected privacy anyway) . cultural change i guess there where more arab movie villains in 2000s movies and games compared to 90s i remember arabs being portrayed in a more idealistic way in 90s movies. one thing that changed was getting in airplanes got a little more annoying. but i don't take a lot of airplanes my first time was in 1997 my 2nd in 2004 my 3rd in 2011 my last in 2018. and covid had a MUCH! bigger impact on that too.

I remember that day America changed but it was a long time ago. so it changed again between now and 2001 it was a very different time.

certainly there can be another country that can do this 192 yet we only use stuff from the us and a little bit of china now i know were i live there is 0 creativity but were is the rest of the world.
