  8. when it comes to technology some old people really don't seem to use the internet at all so when i mention things that are very popular among people under 40 they are all like huh what is a podcast ? and i say oh its like a talk show but on the internet instead of the radio so everyone can have their own show. but they still don't get it and act like i am speaking another language but younger people also have the problem of not having much to say.

I always wondered if such things existed in the early days of phones .even in the 1990s i thought it could have been useful since with radio you didn't have a lot of channels unless you count shortwave. but the sound quality of phone lines was quite bad and normal phone lines could only do 2 way communication. so you needed a separate cable and phone number for every user .

Yea i noticed this i am learning many languages as a hobby including African languages and i noticed people from Somalia and Nigeria have a lot more interesting things to say than people from south Africa or Zimbabwe Zulu speaking people only want to talk about magic and religion people in Nigeria are also super religious but they have more things to say that don't involve it.

  32. here in Belgium we know got the wolves back and a lot of wild boards cool but a little unfortunate because i used to feel very safe in the woods the only big animals that were around were deer that runaway in panic when they see you .nowadays the woods are still safer than a city but you do have to watch out a little bit in Germany even bears have started showing up again in places were they haven't been for centuries. i hope they never come to Belgium they are very tough and attack people unprovoked at least with wolves and wild boars they are hesitant to attack humans since humans can fight back unarmed even if that is a bad idea. but a bear is pretty much invincible against an unarmed human its like me vs a chicken

And in Belgium we are also running out of Electricity because of the messed up green polices like replacing nuclear energy with gas plants while gas is becoming super expensive and not environmentally friendly at all compared to nuclear and Germany is doing the same crap right now France is the only one in western Europe that still makes sense but i have a feeling they will mess up too .

Not saying its not bad when this happens in other countries but England is one of the last places i would expect this to happen. with how wide spread the English language is you would think they would learn it quickly even if they don't want to. if this can happen in England it can happen everywhere .

  41. seems like the more you go south the worse it gets. south Africa and Botswana and Namibia seem better than the rest of Africa. but i think its because they are more westernised ( because they couldn't fight back well) and they got lucky and avoided communism. i think that in the more distant future places like Senegal and Ethiopia will catch up while countries further south will stagnate. i am trying to learn African languages and in order to learn a language you got to use. it but trying to watch content in zulu is very boring its always either about religion or sports. in languages like Somali or Wolof (language spoken in Senegal) i can find more interesting things like videos about history languages from central Africa are somewhere in between.

Well you are kind of right but its the best if every group gets its own country with its own ideas and culture and laws and these countries are friendly and trade with each other and learn from each other its not good to cram everyone into one country because then you will get less diversity of ideas.

You are so old its interesting to find things you said decades ago just because you said them in in an era before i was born. and i want to know what peoples opinions where back in the 80s 70s 60s before the rise of the internet .it was rare to hear what the average person thought about current events.

  45.  @harry.flashman  Yea i still remember the end of the 90s very fun and simple. but in my country immigration already started in the 1960s and slowly got more and more. i think in the 90s one in 10 kids in my school where foreign. now its like 25% of the population. but even my parents claim there where many foreign people in their era when they where growing up. they lived closer to the city centre. when my grandparents where young there where a few people from other European countries here like Italians including my great grandparents. but nobody who was not from Europe. also while you are older than me your not as old as Simon who was already an adult in the 1970s and remembers much more .and people's opinions change over the years

  48. There are a lot of countries that are now better than America in most ways. but the problem is the ones with the most powerful armies all have serious flaws like china and Russia. India is less bad but still quite flawed. i like japan or Poland or south Korea .but they are probably going to get sabotaged by these bigger countries that still old a grudge over things that happened a very long time ago
