  1. When you think about it japan is one of the few truly pagan countries left. Europe the Americas Oceania and half of Africa are Christian. the other half of Africa and many parts of Asia are Muslim. then most the countries in Asia that are not Christian or Muslim got colonised by Europe. and even now a lot of their laws are influenced by Christianity. and then you only had china Thailand Nepal Bhutan and Korea. but half of Korea and china and some of these ex French colonies became communist and south Korea also has a lot of Christians now. i think Japanese religion has more in common with roman religion than Christianity .because the romans also would often try to have multiple religions at once. and you can see similar behaviour with African pagans too but they are being repressed .
