apart from the obvious politics the open source community just always seemed out of touch with the average user. like how Linux fans keep trying to convince people that text only command prompts are better than a gui. there are some other things like really bad naming choices and focussing projects few people care about and they are also bad at explaining things they made some stuff that seemed pointless to me at first but when i actually used it it was great but totally different from what i expected .
