the worst part is that they can't even admit they made mistakes in the past its one thing to say the current Russia is perfect but these guys can't admit any flaws.

@HoJSimpson back then it was quite hard to watch non American or local movies but that was just because of technological limits. and when you have 2 tv channels you don't want to take risks and broadcast something less than 40% of the population wants to watch .

1 there were almost non of them in Germany back then 2 that was banned almost everywhere at the time 3 they also had similar problems in most countries at the time 4 and 5 you are right .and honestly for the average person things could also go wrong quickly if you said something wrong even on accident. they did this thing were they would go after a shop owner that was of a certain group but then they would try to track down all his costumers and arrest them too even if they were just average Germans.
