I can see that happen in Europe too but right now its not. but that is just because the leaders don't know what YouTube and internet and computers are. and in my country there are almost no youtubers anyway. most people pretend to be American with a weird accent. and if people want to watch something local they will just watch tv like its 1990. but this does not apply to bigger countries like Germany where they do make a lot of stuff or even small European countries where they still have balls like Czech republic.

So anime needs to have a separate Canadian English and Canadian French dub.

@PaveMentman Yea that is all nice but the problem is that Canada is treating random youtubers as tv stations with a big budget. and they also want to force everyone to only watch Canadian videos instead of foreign stuff. So its very different from what you mentioned in my country (belgium) you can also watch tv online officially. but that is not the point. they also try to enforce tv corporation rules from 1989 on random youtubers. but they are not as bad as they are in Canada yet.
