My grandparents went from surviving this to living a luxurious modern life. but to my grandparents grandparents war was as natural as the weather. and never believed in a peaceful western Europe.

quite modern for you my grandparents were growing up during this time .they are the last people in western Europe who had to survive really bad conditions that were normal for my more distant ancestors for all of history .lets hope it stays like this but i doubt it .

@rhodesridge my grandma is from Europe but when the Americans came to her village she had never seen a black person before and didn't know why he looked like that .
