Buy just the essentials. Every day. If you have to…just buy from the small local stores and restaurants. When the economy slows down…it will be blamed on Trump. When big businesses start to loose money, maybe things will change. I’ve cancelled my Amazon, Netflix and Air B& B accounts today. I won’t be shopping at Walmart. I’m not buying any big purchases. If my fridge, stove or furnace stop working, I’ll buy those, but otherwise, I’m only buying the essentials. The U.S. has gone from a democratic country to a dictatorship in three weeks. This is the least I can do.

Maybe think about coming to Churchill, Manitoba in October or November and see the wild polar bears and northern lights. Or if you come to Churchill in the summer…you will see hundreds of beluga whales and their babies in the Churchill river.

25% tariff on Canada. 25% tariff on Mexico. 20% on China. Americans will be paying 70% more on April 3rd from these three countries compared to today, so it’s no wonder Americans are worried about tariffs. 70% more is a lot of money. Then add on European tariffs. Canada sells gas, oil, food, aluminum, steel, pharmaceuticals, water, cars, minerals, lumber, electricity, natural gas, etc. to the U.S. The U.S. buys 412 billion dollars worth of goods from Canada per year. Canadians are angry that Trump said he was going to annex Canada , so it’s not just tariffs that they are angry about.

Canada sells 80% of the potash that American farmers use. Potash is used for fertilizer. The farmers will have to pay 25% more starting tomorrow. I’m thinking they will raise the price of their product, but they won’t be selling that product until later in the summer. It’s going to hard for some farmers to come up with that extra amount of money.

Canada sells cars, lumber ( housing prices will go up), gas, oil, water, electricity, cloths, food, parts, aluminum, potash ( potash for fertilizer…80% of what the U.S. buys..is from Canada. Food prices will go up.), steel, minerals etc… These products will go up in price by 25% tomorrow…March 4th. Trump kept saying that the country of origin that pays the tariff, but he was lying. It’s the American people that pay the tariff. Mexican products also go up tomorrow by 25%. China…10%. So if an American buys three products…they pay 60% more starting tomorrow. Trump says he will add tariffs on Europe next. Trump is trying to put every American in the poor house. The millionaire and billionaires don’t care that the price of so many products goes up tomorrow.

Melifter . Mexico had put 10,000 troops at the border years ago. Trump acted like he got that deal done today. Canada signed the 1.3 billion dollar border plan in Dec 2024. Trump acted like it was signed today. No…it was signed in December. Trump wants to make the American people think he got something from Mexico and Canada.

The first time I had heard of Musk was when the kids were caught in the cave in Thailand. People from around the world volunteered to go to Thailand to help rescue the kids from the cave that had filled up with water. A British man came up with an idea on how to get the kids out of the cave and Musk didn’t like the idea because he thought his idea was better, so Musk called the British man a pedophile. There was no truth to this and it ruined the British man’s reputation and life. I can see many Magats immediately call anyone disagreeing with them a pedophile, now. Musk cares only about himself and doesn’t care whether he ruins other people’s lives.

@tassi8925 Just a bit of information…as I know it. Every year the bears arrive around the area of Churchill at different times. I was there in Sept, (2009) and saw many bears, but I think you have a better chance now to see the bears in Oct. and November. The bears are waiting for the ice to form on Hudson’s Bay…so they can go out and kill the seals. The ice coming out of Churchill River is fresh water, so the ice forms faster in that area. Churchill is called the polar bear capital of the world. You can fly from Winnipeg to Churchill, but it’s a bit expensive. You can take a train from Winnipeg to Churchill…it takes two days. Or you can drive to Thompson, Manitoba and take the train from there to Churchill. There are no roads to Churchill…you have to take the train or fly. When I was there, I heard some guns going off at night. It was the conservation officers shooing the bears out of the town….pointing their guns in the air, not at the bears. Hope this helps.

Why can’t the International Criminal Court issue an arrest warrant for Trump for charges against humanity for sending innocent men to El Salvador to be tortured.?

@jamesmedina2062 . Canadians and other tourists are being detained by ICE at the borders. They are chaining tourists, putting them in dirty, cold cells for two weeks, sometimes more. ICE looks at your phone and if there are any negative comments about Trump, you are deported or put in a cell. One Canadian had to hire a lawyer and it cost her $20,000.00 to get her out of the cell she had been in for two weeks. Britain, Canada and Germany have issued travel warning to the U.S.

As I understand, Ontario sells electricity to New York, Michigan and Minnesota. Quebec sells electricity to New York, Massachusetts and Vermont. Manitoba sells electricity to Minnesota and North Dakota. British Columbia sells electricity to California, Washington and Oregon. The premiers of these provinces are being pressured from Canadians to turn the electricity off to these states…especially since Trump has said he will annex Canada. The premier of Ontario, Doug Ford, has threatened to turn the electricity off, but the other premiers are also being pressured to turn the electricity off, as well.
