Americans will be paying 70% more on April 3rd from these three countries compared to today, so it’s no wonder Americans are worried about tariffs. 70% more is a lot of money. Then add on European tariffs. Canada sells gas, oil, food, aluminum, steel, pharmaceuticals, water, cars, minerals, lumber, electricity, natural gas, etc. to the U.S. The U.S. buys 412 billion dollars worth of goods from Canada per year. Canadians are angry that Trump said he was going to annex Canada , so it’s not just tariffs that they are angry about.
