If a person eats processed food or ultra processed food, they aren’t eating as many fruits, vegetables, lentils, olive oil, and good protein that the body needs to keep healthy. Doctors are now seeing kids who have have fatty liver disease at the age of 10. These are probably kids that have been given processed and ultra processed foods their whole lives. The processed and ultra processed foods have too much sugar and too much salt. Even processed foods that don’t taste sugary…have sugar in them, but the label won’t call it sugar. Many health professionals are saying that Type 2 diabetes can be reversed, if the person just ate healthy. Also, some types of dementia is now being called Type 3 diabetes. Maybe it can be reversed if the person ate a healthy, non processed diet during their life…I don’t know.
