With Canadian and Mexican tariffs of 25% coming in on March 1st and add 10% tariffs from China…the U.S. will be going into a depression.
Americans will be paying 60% more from this three countries. There are many people in the U.S. that will not be able to afford a 60% hike in prices.
From Canada tariffs…gas, oil, lumber, cloths, food, aluminum, steel, electricity, water..etc…will all go up by 25% on March 1 st because of Trump. And add Mexico and China.
And Trump said he will be adding tariffs on Europe.
Many countries are not buying anything from the U.S. since Trump was elected. Trump said he was going to invade Canada, so most of Canada is not buying anything from the U.S. In solidarity about 15 countries have joined in. Not buying anything from the U.S.
A lot of the companies in the U.S. will start laying off people, because they aren’t getting the orders from the countries around the world. I think the U.S. will be going into a depression.

The way I understand the tariffs, is, the U.S. company picks up the shipment that they ordered from Canada (25% tariff) Mexico (25% tariff) and China (20% tariff) at the customs office. The company sends the 25% or 20% tariff to Trump. For the company to recoup that 25% or 20%….the company will increase the price of the item 25% or 20% …when they sell it. So the American people pay the tariff in the end. The American people will have to pay 25% or 20% more. Trump gets the money from all of these tariffs and from what many are saying…use that money to lower the taxes for millionaires and billionaires.
If an American buys three products on April 3rd ( the tariffs are to be added April 2nd) ….compared to two months ago before Trump became president, they will be paying 70% more. 25+25+20=70.
Some of the products that will be tariffed from Canada are electricity, water, lumber, aluminum, steel, pharmaceuticals, cloths, oil, potash ( for fertilizer), natural gas, cars, metals, food, parts etc.
Canada sells cheap electricity to Maine, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Washington, Oregon and California.
The premier of Ontario, Doug Ford, threatened to cut the electricity off to New York, Michigan and Minnesota last week…the three states he sells to. Lutnick called to have a meeting with Doug Ford.
The Canadian people are urging their elected officials to cut the electricity since Trump said he would annex Canada. There are 5 premiers that decide what they want to do with the electricity. Quebec, New Brunswick, Ontario, Manitoba and British Columbia.
