  1. If the tariffs are added in a month, you will be paying 60% more. If you buy one item from Canada (25%), one item from Mexico ( 25%) and one item from China (10%). You will be paying 60% more in one month compared to today. Trump told the American people that the countries that the products came from would be paying the tariffs, but the American people pay the tariffs. Trump told over 3,000 lies in the 4 years of his first term. This is another one of his lies. The American people pay the tariffs.

  2. @ Yes, exactly. And Trump wants to add tariffs on all products coming from the European Union now, too. These higher prices are fine for Trump and other billionaires, but it is the middle class and poor that will be hurt the most by these tariffs. The average American will be paying more for groceries, cars, lumber, gas, electricity etc. I’ve read that the money made from the tariffs will go to help reduce taxes of the billionaires. I don’t know if this is true or not.
