In some instances -- Nazi Germany, modern Russia, Hamas -- tevsuppoet of the leaders is nearly universal, in which case they may be identified. The difference exists where there is sizable opposition. P.S. Inappropriate use of the nice-sounding words like "linear" or "classic" does not help you at all.
