The huge light and red dot on that thing are hilarious. Nice revolver though.

it mattered, it just mattered less.

I don't understand vets that hate civilians with guns. From the BRCC to a couple of the dudes from GBRS group, they have said things that show clear contempt for civilians with weapons and seem like they would love to blow them away.
34
Hahahaha, Charlie's comments on cultures that eat dogs is spot on.
18
Garand Thumb sure has stepped up his lifting over the past 3 years. I loved the .410, inspired me to get one.
17
I'm a big fan of 7.62 x 51, that's why I have a Tavor 7 as one of my main battle rifles.
13
@DrewishAF I agree, most Americans or Europeans for that matter are more afraid of killing than dying. I think everyone should take martial arts and then fight both in a sporting context and a real context, it teaches you how to stay calm under pressure when someone is trying to beat the shit out of you/kill you. If you can chill and breathe easy in those situations it goes a long way to dealing with all life threatening situations.
13
Not in America I wouldn't. If I was in Russia, yes. But in any NATO country I would pick the m4 due to the availability of ammo. That AK won't keep you alive if you can't feed it. Also, at same skill level the m4 can put rounds down range with accuracy faster than the AK.

An umbrella is shockingly effective. The space between you and the surface keeps its temp constant.
11
You guys should do rifle rated helmets next. Those of us with rifle rated helmets are very interested to know what they can do.

His vision was probably significantly better as a kid, I know mine was. I also get the impression he hasn't shot in awhile and was rusty, but with the muscle memory of something he did a lot as a kid.

@zailaurence2385 You sound like you're sporting purple hair.
9
@JohnGalt-ry2hm That doesn't change the fact that it wasn't Garand Thumb demonstrating as per your comment.
7
I actually enjoyed the absence of his slowtard schtick.

Now the visible spectrum seems like easy mode. I have the pulsar thermion 2 xp50 pro, and other thermal and NVG. The higher quality weapon mounted ones are impossible to hide from unless you have dedicated anti-thermal camo. I actually think hunting with them is straight up unsportsmanlike, it is too OP, the critters only chance is your bad aim. I don't understand how people congratulate themselves on a hog hunt or whatever using thermal. Thermals are for hunting people imo.

@nono-jj9rr They are very good for solving from the outside as well as the inside.
5
Yup, WV represent!
5
Prepare to wait a long time as the ATF approves your paperwork. Abolish the NFA.

4 kids? Good job man. Good advice, we need to raise our kids to make the world a better place.....and not trust the goverment :)
4
Every hear that everything is connected? Because it is.
3
Holy hell I can't believe you snagged one for a review!
3
Lol.
3
I think that's the Romeo 8 on his rifle. It works great, every bit as good as eotech, maybe better.
3
idk if they really use mantis or not, but I use it all the time. It has improved static flat range shooting only a little, but it has improved my dynamic shooting a lot. I'm always pieing corners and practicing firing from high ready and low ready, practice shooting lefthanded, etc. I find my sights a lot faster and while moving am more accurate. Def recommend.
3
It is absolutely real. I sometimes stare at people just to get them to turn around. It's funny. Especially if they can't see you. I can feel it, other people can feel it, it is a real thing.
3
It is an excellent rifle despite it's age.
3
Yeah but I'd still take it. I think they botch a lot of those on purpose, I've yet to see a veterinarian botch putting a dog to sleep by lethal injection.
3
I think Ceradyne is still owned by 3M, that is who made my rifle rated helmet. Did you have any experience with RF1 or RF2 helmets? If so how did the perform during testing?
3
@willblack7353 Idk they seem significantly lowered to me. There has been a general movement in that direction since at least 2008.
3
I have the Tavor 7, it is excellent. The recoil is low enough and overall length short enough you can use it as a main battle rifle. Normally .308 would be in a designated marksman role.
3
Training in martial arts for an extended period will help a lot with this in regards to footwork, panning, rotating torso while in motion etc.
3
Well considering not just CQB but that there can be snipers anywhere and everywhere in an urban environment I would have guessed it is very dangerous. A Marine buddy of mine said if he is going to assault a city he wants to wear as much armor as possible, which told me he thought it was dangerous.
3
Your grandfather was on the good side, bless his soul.
3
That is my experience with the Tavor 7 as well.
3
@pewpewTN It is excellent, it is the only .308 that could be a cqb rifle.
2
I love my Tavor 7, and yes it is well suited to urban combat.
2
Israel not my fav country, but I have to hand it to them their Tavor 7 is awesome. It's the only 7.62 rifle I would consider as a main battle rifle. The bullpup design makes it short enough and the recoil is low enough to even use it in CQB. The recoil is barely more than 5.56 from an AR, although the muzzle climb is more. You can't put as many rounds on target as fast, but every round is much more potent.
2
That depends entirely upon the person. And what gear they have. AMPs give you superhuman hearing in 3D. Hunting stupid normal people is easy. Hunting trained predatory humans using thermal and NV is different and significantly harder than sneaking up on an elk. Don't assume it will be easier than an elk or you will f*ck yourself. Animals let me approach them all the time because they sense no aggressive intent. If I made a sudden movement then sure, they'd run. But being slow and steady, not looking directly at them, showing zero interest in them, wild animals will let you approach very close before running.
2
So am I.
2
@JoMiMi_h Yes you are correct.
2
Hurr durr
2
The Sturmgewehr IS the first assault rifle. Probably my favorite rifle, God bless the Germans.
2
He blew his skull out!!

I read some reviews where people were saying the stock is a bit flimsy/cheap feeling. Can anyone confirm?
1
Is that a rhetorical question?
1
250,000 so far.
1
That is an excellent weapon, I want one. End the NFA!
1
Obviously you could.
1
I thought this is the rifle the military should have adopted. Except no to the polymer ammo, for a variety of reasons. Upgrade the trigger and imo it's a no brainer. Idc about the learning curve.
1
I love lever actions, this video makes me feel like I need to upgrade my Henry X model.
