  1. He was raised by humans. He can never be wild. Trying to force a human raised animal to be wild when it doesn't want to be is thoughtless and cruel. Driven by this bizarre ideology that they HAVE to be wild, no matter what. Conversely it is cruel to take an animal raised in the wild and put it in a cage.

  3. Nothing wrong with keeping them as a pet, especially if you raised them. I don't agree with this girls philosophy, and the philosophy of trying to return human raised animals to the wild. They can never be wild after being raised by humans, so I think it's cruel to force them into it. Sometimes the worst things are done by people who think they are doing good.

  4.  @ladycaticorn2950  That depends entirely on how the "free range" birds are treated. Sometimes it means they run free on a small farm until they are slaughtered or pass naturally, but most often it means they are "free range" in a giant crowded warehouse where free range means they aren't in individual cages. I agree they are treat cruelly and barbarically. Which is why I don't eat meat of any kind. I refuse to subsidize that evil.

  20. Approaching all depends on size of the pigs, do they have piglets with them, etc. If the pigs get aggressive just fire a round from a handgun the pigs will scatter. They can be dangerous to people of small size or physically weak like the elderly etc. Of course their tusks can do a lot of damage. I have been around lot more dangerous wild animals than any pig, so to my mind they are just kind of "meh" in terms of danger. IMO bears are probably the most dangerous land animals. That or elephants.

  31. God bless this woman!! I have put forth the same amount of love and effort towards my dogs in their senior years, I love old dogs. I hope Elephant has many years ahead of him still!
