@gordonmohr2268 Well if she could only hit him in the hand I don't think it makes much difference. A pistol is the more nimble weapon up close, she might not have even hit him once with the shotgun. The shotgun is a longer lever and much easier for him to take from her or control the barrel. Once she let him get right up on her, the shotgun is at a disadvantage against a pistol.
