  1. Oh I had this black pill like 2 years ago. You are right, it is pathetic. Internal martial arts training and meditation/yoga/qi gong is a very good way of training your attention span. If you can hold a single posture for 45 minutes all the while focusing on the tiniest details of that posture and correcting your alignment, while also focusing on things like breathing and energy your will and attention span will both become sharp and long lasting. Of course being able to sit down and read for 2+ hours is also good.

  14. It is not enough to be strong, you must know how to fight. Every guy thinks he can fight. Well I got news for you 95% of them can't. If you haven't trained you can't fight anyway except how an animal fights and you won't do it nearly as well as your cat. Train hand to hand, train with weapons. FMA and HEMA would be the best thing to train when it comes to weapons, as knives are more prevalent than firearms in the UK. Keep working out, thats good. Build your foundation. For fighting, legs and hips are much more important than training upper body. Your legs and hips are what create real power.

  30. I don't know how these kids will be able to become surgeons. Being a surgeon requires a long attention span and absolutely precise and unwavering attention to detail. You have to be on point at all time, there is no room for mistakes. If anyone of their generation does become a surgeon or anything requiring such mental capacities they are going to be in a different world from their peers, it will be like the difference between someone who is mentally retarded vs. someone with a 150 IQ.

  33. I realized this at 6 years old. That is why I have done martial arts all my life. With weapons and empty hand. Also with firearms, because we have a lot of latitude as Americans to purchase and train with firearms.

  34. That sounds horrific to me. If I don't eat fruits and vegetables every day, I feel quite unhealthy. I don't eat meat at all, only eggs (that might count as meat to some). The way I lost weight quickly and easily was in Thailand, I ate whatever I wanted, mostly rice based vegetable dishes and fruit but I did eat some crap food here and there, ice cream and pizza. Still, the weight just melted off. The fact is our food supply (if you live in North America) has been highly compromised. You can eat like a rabbit and workout hours a day and barely lose any weight here. In Asia it is so so easy.
