  6.  @sltga1254  It wouldn't be double the price, how ridiculous. But I'd be willing to pay at least 1.5x the price for one made in America. Higher quality is less money spent in the long run. My 4Runner was made in Japan, so I paid extra for it. Because obviously it costs more to make a car in Japan than Mexico, and then the cost of shipping it across the pacific. They could make it cheaper in Mexico, sure. But the quality would be worlds apart, in a bad way.

  8. We aren't going to withdraw our commitment to defend Japan, don't be daft. Japan is worth too much to us not to defend it. We never had huge bases in Ukraine, and they were never an ally. We also never had a commitment to defend Ukraine.

The government will get money from tariffs as well, lowering your tax burden. That is more money in your pocket . If you understood the economy and that we subsidize illegal immigrants, you wouldn't be asking these questions.

  31. I voted for him 3 times and I don't agree with everything he does either. Sometimes I feel like he's never read the constitution, only heard people talk about it. Or that he thinks its a list of helpful "suggestions". "Take the guns first, worry about due process later", yeah no, that's not how it works, Trump. I also vehemently disagree with him about supporting Israel. But other than those 2 things I like what he is doing.

  48. The distance between Japan and Nigeria is greater than the distance to America, and transport much more difficult. Sending stuff by boat across the pacific is no problem. Crossing to Nigeria covers more distance and has to go over both land and sea. So it doesn't seem feasible, plus Nigeria doesn't have anything close to the Market the US has.
